In Sophie's 2023 middle grade fiction book, The Key to Rome, main character Livia has to keep a promise made to her late father to take a mysterious key to her estranged uncle Marcus. Shivaun and Sophie talk to Jenny Mitchell about how keeping promises can be harder than it sounds and what inspired the stories they've written about absent fathers, complicated family relationships and searching for your own identity while growing up.
