Sophie Masson AM
Sophie Masson, AM, was born in Indonesia of French parents and was brought up in France and Australia.
A bilingual French and English speaker, she has a master’s degree in French and English literature. Sophie is the prolific and award-winning author of more than fifty novels for children, young adults and adults, many of which have been published internationally. Sabina and the Cats of Rome, a chapter book for young readers and A Secret Garden in Paris, (under Sophie Beaumont pen-name), an adult contemporary novel will be released later this year.
In 2023 Sophie published The Paris Cooking School (under Sophie Beaumont pen name) an adult contemporary novel, and The Key to Rome, a middle-grade historical novel. Satin, a picture book and Secrets of the Good Fairy House, an adult creative non-fiction book both written by Sophie and illustrated by Lorena Carrington, were also released last year.
