Mary Garden

Mary Garden is a freelance journalist and has written for The Humanist, The Australian Financial Review, Meanjin, The Guardian, New Zealand Herald, The Australian, The Northern Times, Aviation News (NZ), Newsroom (NZ), New Zealand Geographic, Newtown Review of Books and many other magazines and news sites.

Her books include Sundowner of the Skies, which was short-listed for the NSW Premier’s History Award 2020 and her recent memoir My Father’s Suitcase.
