Sam Kane

Sam Kane has been a regular session host at Bendigo Writers Festival for several years. He is an Electorate Officer for The Hon Maree Edwards MP and has been Golden Square Pool President & General Manager for over ten years after leading the community activism, which stopped its closure.

He is a member of The Greater Bendigo Public Space Advisory Committee which provides high level strategic advice to the City about Public Space matters. Sam has previously worked for Bendigo Foodshare and is a well-respected public speaker and voice for change in his local community. 

 

The Bendigo Writers Festival acknowledges that the City of Greater Bendigo is located on Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung country.
