Trace Balla

Trace Balla lives on Djaara Country, Castlemaine, and creates books about connection with Country and community.

A self described "story catcher", she finds inspiration in nature to enrich her detailed cartoon style drawings. She also writes song lyrics, and gives talks and workshops, inspiring nature journaling, cartooning, and preliteracy.

 

The Bendigo Writers Festival acknowledges that the City of Greater Bendigo is located on Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung country.
