Sarah Mayor Cox

Sarah Mayor Cox has lived and worked on Dja Dja Wurrung Country since the early 90s. In that time she has used her qualifications as a primary teacher to work as; an academic inspiring generations of keen graduates at La Trobe University Bendigo, a conference/festival speaker and convenor; a literacy coach, a book reviewer and independent commentator, a teacher librarian and more recently as the Founding Consultant for Ecology of Learning.

Sarah can be found in all weathers either tucked up with an Earl Grey tea and a good book, or chatting to eager young and young-at-heart readers in one of her favourite bookshops or over the ABC Overnight airwaves. Sarah is a long time volunteer with many literacy agencies such as the CBCA and ALEA and also for other charities. She likes to create with clay, textiles or paint.
